Hello,
First off, big fan of all the work done by this site. I am definitely a much more talented producer due to all the detailed tutorials provided by you guys at Sonic Academy. Thanks!
This is my first issue with anything on the website: The recently posted ‘How to Make - Main Room House’ resource pack is giving me some issues. The Ableton projects load up fine, the problem is that all the instances of Sylenth1 load using the synth’s default patch. I have watched all the associated video tutorials and I know that none of the instances of sylenth are supposed to be running the default patch; the patches are all customized from scratch if I recall correctly.
Is there anyway you may post a new version of the resource pack that includes the properly customized patches for the instances of sylenth used in the project?
Thanks!

Hi Omega,
can you try updating your copy of sylenth and ableton to see if this resolves your issue?
kind regards
bryan
I’m running this on my Macbook Pro. I have reinstalled Sylenth v2.202 for OSX.
The projects still load with the preset ARP 303 Saw.
I am still open to suggestions. Is this happening to anyone else? Seems like a weird problem to me.
Mine does the same thing I have to watch the videos and set each instance of the Sylenth.
I do not if this is any help.
I’ve not watched these videos yet, but I thought I’d download the resources to check it out.
All my sylenths open with the default 303 patch, which is what I assume is happening to others.
Yeah I had a few Probs with this…
- I upgraded Aether to 1.5.1 which had a GUi bug which crashed any other vst plugins
- I upgraded to the beta of sylenth…
both where a bad idea…
I rolled both back and reprogramed all the presets so the are all vst 100% working and not crashy.
The Fixed resources will be up later today
is it safe to say that this might be the most massive tutorial SA have ever done?
Keep up the good work guys!
Certainly heading in that direction

Has this been fixed yet? I’m still getting the ARP 303 Saw sylenth patch load problem stated in the posts before.
