How to make Prog House in Logic, Asset gripe

Hey guys,



I’m currently doing the How to make Prog House tutorial in Logic. I’m attempting to load the PRG Bass 2.aif and I get this error…



Logical end-of-file reached during read operation



Result code = -39



I click ok and no sounds are made by the exs24



Has anyone else had a similar problem.



I noticed that the project files and directories that I downloaded don’t match the directories given in the actual tutorial either, not a big deal as so far I’ve managed to find everything I’ve needed, just thought it was worth mentioning.

strange



were the files unzipped using 7zip?



maybe try redownloading your resorces and extracting again

Hey Bryan, thanks for the response.



I just used the standard mac unzipping software, is that likely to cause problems?



I’ll download and try 7zip tonight anyhow.



I did try to redownload and extract the resources again but unfotunately no joy.

have you tried just dragging the bass part into the exs24 after the init fails?

Still no joy.



I tried to load a few other samples from the downloaded archive and of the handful I tried, only PRG SUPER Saw1.aif and PRG Bass 2.aif presented the error I’ve mentioned.

Hey Paul,



I’ve run into this before and though it’s annoying at times if you buy pass it the samples should still load.
