Hi Hope i’ll get some feeds…
I just want to know if anyone has tips on making beats like this i think they are called “jackin” but not sure and those synth stabs are so define and strikes. Anyone can share his ideas ?? thanks
This is not jackin’ house. Ramon Tapia is a Belgium producer and makes house/tech-house tracks.
You need to get the groove correct by placing the proper percussion, hats and bassline.
Find a funky & groovy percussion loop. Layer some open hihats and put some compression on that for the glueing effect.
Create a funky bassline and EQ is correctly over the big kick. His kicks are never too snappy, but have considerable low end.
Hi mate,
Thanks for taking the time to answer me. Can you or do you know how to get those synth? which vst to use? I mainly use sylenth and i can get those sound. Ive tried to layer different synth with electric piano so as to approach some of those synth / stabs but i never get that fat result.
Thanks for tips about the beat, i’ve been able to have same kinda beats and groove. Do you produce those style of tech house too?
Really great stuffs whats ya doing mate ;p i’m on your soundcloud … Good ones …
I do make that kind of music myself. Not entireley focussed on one particular genre though. House, tech-house and techno are my favorite styles. Not really into trance or progressive.
You got a soundcloud account as well? Ah, found your pm in my inbox on soundcloud. Showmelove
It’s a great way to recreate a particular sound & feel of a track by simply adding that track to Ableton. Find a good loop and put a filter on it. Now you can easily filter out some stuff and concentrate on the elements out of which the track is consrtucted.
Zoom in on the loop to find out where he places his stabs, hats, etc.
