I like that vintage analog wall of sound
It’s incredibly motivating to see how much you can achieve with so few elements. I mean, it’s a total of 7 instruments + drums + 3 automations + a reverb from hell like there’s no tomorrow = pure magic. I learned a ton for my own workflow.
As a point of criticism, I have to add that it’s sometimes difficult to follow the tutorial because Timecop is working with an ultra-old version of FL Studio here, and you only see the patterns as solid blocks without any visible MIDI information. If you’re working in a different DAW, this can be a bit problematic. I had to rewind a few times just to check what exactly was inside pattern 4 or 5. Also, it would have been nice if he had shown the mixing process as well.
But all in all, a highly successful and useful tutorial from a true master of his craft.

I’m working with Ableton Live 12. Can somebody, who works with FL studio, give me the real values of each parameter of the multiband compressor? Eventually of the parametric EQ also if possible. Thanks by advance !
