Anyway, IM has this sound they use a lot of a drum build that seems to build up to super fast. Faster than could be made by just changing the grid to 1/32 notes. It actually sounds like they are using some kind of LFO and using automation to increase the rate to super duper fast.br

Any thoughts on how to make this work? While typing this I realized that it might not actually be a drum kit sound but a synth set up with really fast attack and delay to sound more like a drum and actually using an LFO but if anybody has better insight I would love to hear it.br

oh, i forgot to mention. i am specifically looking at the first rise at about the :54 mark. a 1.00 you can hear the specific sound i am talking about. however, i hear them use the technique all over the place.br

well, duh. heh, you would think i would finish watching some tutorials instead of asking stupid questions in the forums. :). The stab riser section in the drums, breaks, and builds section was exactly what i needed.br
