You can actually do it with Ableton’s pitch plug-in. The trick is to use automation and draw in the pitch change (up or down, or a variation of both).
Hope that helps.
While people are posting on this forum, excuse me if I hijack it a bit! I was just wondering if anyone had an idea on how to do the record break vocal/sound effect. It sounds like someone just took the record off the player… I know there must be a way to do this, but how?
For the record brake effect, you want to modulate Pitch and Tempo at the same time.
Experiment a bit and you should get something that sounds about right.

THIS FTW!
Cheche the warp mode you have set, the default is beats, which will give it a clunky feel when it pitches down if you use the clip envelope.
Change it to complex, and you should get a much smoother result like the one in the clip you posted.
Try then warping the last bit, stretch it out a bit, this will slow it down and add to the ‘breaking’ effect.

It’s ok, but could be A LOT better.
