Winston Churchill gets quoted all the time and he made statements more than 50 years ago… Its all about the statement that is made, not who made it.[/quote]
LOL I would have never thought Churchill would be ever brought up in the same context as eminem, despite the former was generally drunk from morning to night I can’t think of any quote of his that states a fact,
As for Enimen’s statement he was having a go at Moby, probably not a bad thing, so it’s really out of context as I would not class Moby as a techno producer in 2006, But Eniimen is a retard who disrespects everyone, including his mother, wife and fans and could not give two s h i ts what he says even if its not true

Lol I used to like the old chill out moby stuff, I just thought it was a funny little quote that would get you stirred up and it did muahahah.
Still im not trying to compare Eminem to Winston Churchill I just dont think its relavant on how old a quote is for it to be quoted. It shouldnt lose its meaning even if it was said 100 years ago lol. But back to Eminem, im not saying hes a saint im not even saying I like him but imho that one lyric hit the nail on the head and made more sense than anything that someone like Adam Bayer or Richie Hawtin has ever done. Also I know it pains you lot but its inevatably true…
So Jan what your saying is no one listens to techno - so Adam Bayer and/or Richie Hawtin probably have a full time job making big macs to pay for their little hobby
And the people who voted in the RA Poll 3 off the top 10 djs of 2010, their finger must have slipped when voting and looking at poll as a whole I would say 45% play techno - maybe you should write to RA and say there poll is fixed as no one listens to techno
And I remember Phil saying that the new tec tut was the most popular bought tut - maybe SA should give them a refund because no one listens to techno
ICN;s techno production thread has 15,148 views must be a bug as no one listens to techno
My Modern Techno thread has had over 1,231 new tunes in 6 months - those producers are wasting their time as no one listens to techno
The clr style techno thread in 3 months has 779 views again it must be a bug as no one listens to techno
MNL forum has 27678 users but no one listens to techno
1,510,000 if you google Ritchie Hawtin but no one listens to techno
Those are all some very nice statistics mate but tell me, has any Techno DJ ever sold out a venue like the O2? Has any Techno track ever gone multi platinum? Can you go up to a random person in the street and ask them if they like the new Plastikman track and them say yes?
Sure there are some dissilusioned tone deaf people walking around claiming they like techno and minimal but i think listening to techno is more of a fashion statement because you people somehow think its ‘cool’ or ‘niche’ to listen to techno and tbh… i question wether people that claim to like techno actually even listen to it…
Also wtf is the RA Poll? Why not take a poll that people actually know and take notice of, the DJ mag top 100 poll… How many Techno DJ’s are in the top 10??
But in the long run taking an average means ive got one very bang on statistic for you…
