Thank you for your reply. However, this thread is not about Dance Music vs. Live Recording. Personally, I don’t do Live Recording. Anyway, I did write a lengthy reply to your post but something went wrong when I tried to post it. Now I don’t have the time to write it all up again.
My point is that you really should make room for more musical genres in the »How To Sound Like« tutorials which seems to be the meat and potatoes of the Sonic Academy website.
How about a tutorial on how to sound like this guy:
