How to sound like Prodigy

Im inspired by Prodigy research in course Sonic Academy | Electronic Music Production Tutorials | Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio Video Tutorials . When I subscribe and get this tutorial, would it be enough, or I will need some additional commerce plugins for making music sound like the Prodigy? As far as I understand - everything is made by VST plugins, real drum kit and so on on the track? I mean no wave forms cut from Prodigy albums, only Ableton studio generated sound, yes? When I subscribe and get that stuff will it be enough for making tracks that sound like Prodigy?

Thanks for response in advance.

all the samples are included in the course. you need to get some FREE plugins that are used in the course. the videos will have all the info you need.

Phil, I have the tutorial from a few years back - I’m wondering if you’d consider re-visiting it briefly - I think it was “pre-Sausage Fattener” and I’m wondering how the final mastering chain might be beefed up now that Sausage Fattener and other plug-ins are available ie. other amp guitar vsts etc.br
br
Could you post an updated final mastering chain to help liven up the final mix a bit? Make it push through and pump more like a real Prodigy track does?br
br
The arrangement is stellar - well, I guess Big Ginters would say… "Grand"br
br
but I’m finding in my efforts with this it ends up sounding still a bit flat and almost comes off as a parody rather than an homage…br
br
I’ve tried to apply sausage fattener strategically based on other ableton tutorials of late like funky house and dutch house but i’m ending up with too much distortion…br
br
much thanks in advance!br

cheers!

Which course is this you refer to? I’d really like some courses that cover Prodigy Pendulum styles as they seem quite related - dance rock?

danh, it’s the “how to make synth punk” ableton tutorial.

here’s my take on the tutorial! i changed it up a bit in terms of sylenth lead sounds etc to make it more my own…br

cheers!br
