Welcome to the forum brother!
I got into music at a young age. I was classically trained on the piano and quit later in life. I played for about 10 years before I hung them up. I also played alto sax and baritone sax for 6 and 3 years. Then I got into the rave scene. Started DJing, and produced music on and off for about 10 years. I just recently got serious about it a little over a year ago. Thats my story and Im sticking to it!
started listening to rave tapes in 91, at 16 i bought some belt drive decks then some technics, went to raves and then clubs and as i started earning more money i started playing with some gear. first thing i bought production wise was a roland mc 303,then was on and off with production for a few years, then got more serious then had a baby so not as much time for it now. :hehe:
Welcome to SA.
For me i’ve always been into music, my mum’s a classicaly trained concert pianist and full time piano teacher and my father is a guitarist, both write and compose their own songs.
I used to play the Piano but gave it up for partying in my late teens, I got into DJing and have been doing that for most my living life, I’d always wanted to produce but pretty much failed at understanding how to work the programs, i always needed someone just to show me the basics then the rest i could work out myself. Then finally 2 years ago I found Sonic Academy and all that all that changed.
Better late than never right?
Anyways i guess the rest you could say is history.
I went to parties in the 90s and i took lots of X . and that is why Produce Music .lol.
