HTSL Ambient House/Ambient Techno/Ambient Breaks

Seems like the ambient influenced dance genres are under-represented in the HTSL series. Perhaps doing a tutorial on that would mix things up a bit.

  1. Ambient-influenced House

  2. Future Sounds of London/The Orb/Orbital

  3. FSOL - Papua New Guinea/The Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds/Orbital - Halcyon + On + On

cool

Need more Techno!

Yerr I mentioned this in another thread, I’d love to hear more lo-fi, ambientish kinda stuff. It’s more challenging to make, and can be applied to all genres [i.e in your break downs for house, minimal etc., etc.]

Leftfield, Trentemoller, Amon Tobin (breaks) would defo be some of my favorite producers, technically.

Totally agree Adam

I’d actually like to see a Tut on maybe Dub influenced fx.

Lo-Fi yeah… and use of delays… feedback… soaked in reverb & creating cool rhythms.

That could be applied to any genre. Dont think thats covered here at all?

Dub sounds feature so much in so many genres.
