i almost re recored that video to remove all of that but decided it was useful in the end in a round about way :stuck_out_tongue:

I see you using impulse, why that as apposed to drum rack? to me impulse seems to remove some of the initial transients or cause some sort off DC Offset

just personal preference - never had an issue with transients

i like the simplicity of impulse - if i require a more complicated set up ill use drum rack but half a dozen samples ill just use impulse
