Hello everybody,
I’m a 20y old techno producer and a big fan of real, true, straight forward, no beatin’ around the bush loop techno!
Here are some examples:
Marco Bailey - D - Vice - YouTube
- YouTube
- YouTube
(and i can go on and on )
Although i personnaly think my productions aren’t bad and seem to resemble
what i’m actually trying to achieve, they still aren’t there yet. (Judge for yourself
if you like Jordan | Listen and Stream Free Music, Albums, New Releases, Photos, Videos)
My question here is if somebody can help me out or even better would be if sbdy could write a HTSL tutorial for this kind of music.
I also think the TECHNO genre is beeing neglected. On the internet you can find some producing tutorials about almost every kind of music except techno… i would personnaly be thrilled if a tutorial was made! And to add to this i think i’m not the only one!
Then a second idea is to make a HTSL tutorial on hardtechno (i don’t think there much fans of this genre here but hey you never know hu )
Example:
Sven Wittekind - Sunstorm - YouTube
- YouTube
Felix Krocher - Whenever - YouTube
I searched the internet high and low for tutorials on hardtechno but cold only find a few topics on howto make it and that didn’t help me out one bit. At first you’d think it’s pretty easy to make just distorted this and that but man believe me it’s not that simple (or if it is for sbdy here on the forum let me know ).
Alright then, this was it,
Thx for reading!
Cheers,
Jordan
im with you on this as are a few other people on here but s.a seem to go with the masses
Yep im well up for this ,this is some thing thats lacking hope the guys can do something soon !
+1 from me
A tutorial about tekno will be very welcome.
Count me in…
as i’ve said time and time again this has to be done its the only genre not covered yet!!!
Yeah a general techno htsl would be good for the site in general as its a fairly important genre!.Also last time it was put to a vote it got a higher count than tech trance yet we somehow ended up getting that first,so surely a techno htsl is long overdue.

thats because tech trance had been requested for ages off loads of people but had yet to be covered pretty much the same as techno at the moment:D
all the new kids which produce house minimal trance stuff i believe would need to learn to produce the old good techno
hehe

I agree with you on this but i think the reason behind their not being much in the way of tutorials is because so many people have very different opinions as to what techno is.
for me techno is anything unexpected and unpredictable almost always all drums and very rarely any synth action but my friends play techno at techno nights and to me it sounds like tough funky house.
personally with this in mind i would find it almost impossible to make a HTSL techno
Schranz !!!
+1 Would like something in the style of the surgeon or jeff mills:D
should be intresting!
bit of techno never hurt any1, count me in for that htsl

jeff mills or surgeon would be my first choice:D
A htsl proper techno would be quality
even if it covered a variety of stuff like
bas mooy
- YouTube
the advent vs industrialyzer
The Advent, Industrialyzer - Terra Nosa - YouTube
and then covering a more uk based style of techno such as the likes of chris liberator, d.a.v.e the drummer and anything from stay up forever collective.
The Advent, Industrialyzer - Terra Nosa - YouTube
would be much appreciated like
