I need to purchase a Sampler since cubase lacks of an advanced Sampler .
i tried shortcircuit wich is for free but the controls are really annoying (since doesnt have knobs).
(Halion and Kontakt are way out of my budget 
. any recommendations?
well if you have your own samples and you want drumming then i suggest the geist or the ni battery. I only use samplers for drums so i can’t really recommend anything for the other parts. Ableton’s sampler delivers for me

that is the only thing that Cubase sucks at . dont have a proper sampler. i am working resampling bass and other stuff . we have the Groove agent but still needs some proper sampler for sounds
yeah i agree with cubase’s true capabilities , but my resampling still is done with help from ableton’s sampler so i can’t really help you much. sorry. Have you tried rewiring ? ( that if you have another daw )
