Do the right thing and get proper monitors, the difference is huge after your ears have got costumed to your monitors as you’ll hear the full spectrum as you should be…hunt around and like others say definitely try to test a few pairs before you commit to buying,if its saving is the problem trust me its well worth it to save!
“How was the change pre-KRK’s to post Krk’s?
as big a difference as everyone says?”
the difference was remarkable… like going to the cinema after watching a 14" tv for 60 years…
The KrK’s are as I expected, actually not quite, I did start out online to purchase
the black ones… but opted for the red ones special edition apparently ?..
they sound sick & look very ill
All I need now is to pimp up the room to match the mon’s…
Good luck with the move. Go for it.
Lenners…
Little trick I learned from Jonathan Wyner. Cut 4 tennis balls in half and place your monitors on those, cup-side down. That helps minimize the vibrations your monitors will undoubtedly cause through whatever they happen to be resting upon now. It works! And it’s cheap…

Hey len,
All I get is a main page with tons of guitars. What item specifically were you looking at? Haha…the tennis ball thing isn’t so pretty, but like I said, it saves some cash for other things.

You can also do this with a tennis ball [url]Unlock a car door with a tennis ball - YouTube
How easy is it to cut a tennis ball in half?
Pretty easy! Especially if you tape it’s hands behind its back before attempting…
yeah bad link J… if you pop back over and type ‘monitor pad’ in the search, (top right corner of page) then hit the top link of options … you will see the pads…
Of course! Much more professional looking…Perhaps a good Christmas present to replace the tennis balls at the end of the year?
