Hey i was just wondering if you guys have any plans for video support for the iphone? I see you have support for the ipad so surely it wont be too hard to also put it up for the Iphone.

unfortunately the iphone doesn’t support videos greater than 640 pixels wide / or 480 - can’t remember. this means it not simply a plug and play method to get it working. our videos are minimum 910 wide 90% of the time - most recent ones are greater than this.
this means we would have to render all of the videos again and host them on our server - if the demand is there for this then we will then consider it, but the cost to do so currently outweighs the demand for it.
I would think the demand for iPhones and ipods would be higher since more people own them vs. The I- pad. I personally surf youtube all the time and watch production videos so I dont mind the small screen one bit. I understand the cost issues though, hopefully you all do get it iPod and iPhone supported in the future.
Ok bry cheers for that lets hope the demand for it rises. I thought more people would of had an iphone as apposed to the ipad but i guess the ipad does have a nicer screen
