yes it is but with logic its best to set stuff like this up and save it as your auto load, you can also set up trance/midi gates and all sorts of things including chord memory.
Logic is probably the most flexible environment available on any platform but its also easily the most complicated and deep program to use, logics basic’s are very easy and super quick to get to grips with but if you wanna dive under then there is a very steep learning curve.
Yeah Logic is complicated.
I do it an even longer way using cable switchers and stuff, thanks for posting this coz now I know a easier way haha

in logic, i just use a synth with an arpeggiator already wired into the synth.

Yeah. This is the way i do it.
Theres a really nice Arp set up in the Electronic Music Template (I think thats what its called) in Logic 9 (not sure if that was in Logic 8 also…).
Its got a little GUI on the Arrange that you can go through to get different note Resolutions. Also think it can do 2 Arps @ same time.
I’ve got a template that I got somewhere else with a few tweaks to it - not sure what, never compared them. I’ll upload it later if anyone wants it.
Only prob is that yo cant add swing on the fly.
@Jon/127 - What are you like in the Environment Guys? Would you be able to help me set up this thing - USS - Ultimate Step Sequencer?

Basically I would like to have it set up to run a plugin etc… I can import the USS Layer, but get totally stuck after that. I just cant make head nor tail of it. I’ve been going away & coming back to it for over a year now. Really fustrating :hehe:

That would be cool. Now dont get me wrong - I dont want it just “done” for me - stuck in a Template like - although, now that I think of it, that would be handy! LOL
Ideally - I’d like to understand how to do it too. So if you can sort it Mate - I’d love to know how you do it. I just cant seem to get it as an “Object” like you had the Arp there, with the cables & the Sequencer / Physical Input.
I’m failing on the 1st Hurdle. I know in theory what needs to be done, just cant figure out how to ****ing do it.
Whenever like - If at all… I aint in a hurry. Have been messing with it for over a year now. Yawn.
