I already bought ANA and I like the oscillators a lot so no reason for selling points. I am just wondering if there are any pros to using a built in “Reverb” when I have the Lexicon PCM Native Reverb VST
No… If you have the lex use it for sure.

Ok was just making sure there wasn’t some timing issues or what not, thanks!
No its really just to add for browsing the presets… Most of the time a standalone reverb will be better… Also you would only need a couple of reverbs on the returns for a who,e project.

good point
Wait so does the same apply for the filters? I got Pro-Q recently and I REALLY like it, but I always see you guys using the cutoff
The filters on ana are linked to the envelopes and other modulation sources. There is also a seperate filter on every note played.
So using a standalone filter isnt going to work the same.

Ah ok, so for synths the only thing I should fx I should be using that is built in is the Filter then?
I think pick and choose what sounds good.
I really love ANAs Phaser, Chorus and ampsim… they can be intrinsic to the sound of a preset.
ok
