I own logic express 9 & Reason 5 and I don’t really know much about anything as much as everyone else here I need to know if it’s beginner friendly and worth the 160$
Yes, this site is great for beginners and those with moderate experience. There are many, many tutorials that give a wealth of information.
However, you have to put in the time to learn was is being shown to you. I’ve seen a lot of people complain that the site isn’t posting new tutorials quickly enough or that it doesn’t have the specific genre they want. These people aren’t using the tutorials the way they should be used: to set them on the right path, not hold their hand through every step.
When I follow a tutorial, I normally have my own sounds that I choose or design and use the tutorial as a guide for the technical aspects of making a track. Too many people do exactly what’s on the tutorial and expect to then be an expert at that genre.

you can always take out a Silver Subscription and try it out on a 3 monthly basis!
Yes it’s worth it, doesn’t matter what DAW you use, all techniques can be applied.
