Okay, just listened to your track and gotta say I really like it! I cant really comment from a technical perspective as I’m still trying to learn all the EQ’ing side of things myself, but maybe think about turning the side chain off before the break when the kick drops out so it flows a lot more naturally?
I’ve not heard the original so I cant really compare it, but the melody could maybe be brought up in volume as it kinda gets lost in with all the glitchy sounds which are ace but I think they are more fillers that help drive the tune rather than at the forefront.
This is just my personal taste though and if I’m honest I’m just trying to be able to give you something constructive to go on rather than saying “great track!” and leaving it at that.
