Kalkbrenner Style

I am really excited with Kalkbrenner’s Music Lately especially “Altes Kamuffel” track.Could it be possible to recreate this track, or maybe explain some of the techniques been used in this track? It has a very swear shuffling groove.

+100000, I love this song. Also, watch Berlin Calling if you haven’t already

someone commented on one of me soundcloud tracks that it sounded like early Kalkbrenner. It was the best comment I’ve ever had.

Nice call

Count me in on this one anyway

Thanks for putting me onto this - bloody excellent stuff. :D:D:D

That surprises me as I would have thought Kalkbrenner would have been right up your street a long time ago

Ha! Nope - this one slipped under the radar for some reason. A very welcome addition though - am listening to the Berlin Calling soundtrack a lot now. Cheers!

I know he Does 99 % of his work in Cubase useing Cubase Synths and does some mastering in Cubase too.

Thanks

Ana

Heads up guys

also, I’m pretty sure he uses ableton not cubase. maybe he used to use it before, I’m not sure. but from Berlin Calling and the interviews about it, it seems like he was set on ableton after he used it for the soundtrack.
