A little bit about myself:br
I’m a 21 years old producer from Mexico. I’ve been producing for about a year and a half (maybe 2 years), and been listening to electronic music for about 5 years now. br
At first, I wanted to make some electro house but I now feel that a good melody is more uplifting than a drop, and I like to make melodies.br

Thanks for reading/ listening!

Hi mate, just had a listen to your track.br

I think the structure is good and the general melody is ok, it’s just sounding a little basic, there’s not enough going on in the main section, maybe think about having some additional leads coming through the main chord stab, also the whole thing sounds very dry, needs more delay reverb to give it more depth and the kick and bass need to be more prominent in the track, the kick is lost at the moment. More sweeps, crashes, rolls in the transitions wouldn’t go a miss either.

Pretty much what JimmyHep said: br

  1. Try layering your synth with another sound, try using something that has more on the top end to give it a shinebr
  2. You need some reverb on that synth as at the moment it’s way too dry and sounds very dull in the mix br
  3. The bass sound you’ve chosen isn’t doing much for your track, try an octave love and maybe even bring in a sub bass (I’ve got crappy earphones on so might be wrong about the sub) br
  4. Bring the kick out, maybe sidechain your other elements/synths so the kick is slightly more prominent? br

What you’ve got is a start, with some fine tweaks you can get it sounding like all the other main room house tracks if that’s what you’re going for :stuck_out_tongue:
