KICK 2 crashing MAC Computer with Ableton Live

Hello,

so I just bought KICK2 and im very satisfied with the outcome of it jn Ableton, though I have a big problem with it. I can only use it for like 20 min and then my computer (MAC) totally crashes and restarts and a then there is a message “YOUR COMPUTER RESTARTED BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM”

Any idea what this is about? Would be grateful for answer,

There are things we can’t guess :smile: :wink:

  • MacOS version number ?
  • Ableton Version number ?
  • KICK 2 plugin Installer version number ? → Latest installer is v2.0.94

Make sure you’re up to date with all MacOS updates as well as running the latest version of Ableton.
Also for the Mac side of things, check this thread → If your Mac restarted because of a problem - Apple Support

Then I suggest you follow the procedure in the link below to manually uninstall Kick 2. Once done make sure to download a fresh Kick 2 installer from your S.A user account ( latest version is v 1.1.4 ) and reinstall Kick 2.
