Kick 2 vst

Just brought kick 2 vst…I’m using Cubase 9.5 Pro
After installing it several times Cubase still can’t find
It as and instrument or and Fx, it like it not there even
After moving .dll into Cubase’s vst folder. Can anyone help? I paid a lot for this plugin not to work.

Hey @Anthony395

Sorry for the delayed answer…

Your talking about .dll so I assume that you’re on a Windows machine, then which version ? Win 7, Win 10…etc
and more importantly are you on a 64bit or 32bit version of Windows and Cubase ( I assume x64 because running latest Cubase version ).

If using a Win x64 system you should use the appropriate Kick 2 x64.dll plugin file in your appropriate VST folder that should be under C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins… or any custom folder location under C:\Program Files.…

I’m using the following custom path ( just to give you an example )
C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Sonic Academy\Kick 2 x64.dll

You don’t want to use the Kick 2.dll which is for Win 32Bit system in a x64 environment.

That’s a first basic troubleshooting, let me know if that helped

Hey @Anthony395

Have you solved this problem ?

Thanks

I’m using windows 7 64bit yes i have the latest version
Kick 2 x64.dll is inside my Cubase vst folder

please contact me at aw395@yahoo.com

Nope, it’s still not working

i’d make sure the 32 bit dll - Kick 2.dll is not located in any of your x64 folders - that can cause issues.
