Just bought Kick 2 and it shows up in Ableton but when I drag it into a midi track, it says that it can not be opened

Does it mean that this is solved or are you still having issue with Kick 2 ?
Yeah, I just reassigned the custom vst folder in the settings and it recognized it then.
