Kick 3 changes character/timing/pitch/everything related to sample rate changes, and that’s pretty ass dev tbh.
I understand backwards compatability, but you should really consider including a “sample rate agnostic” option or the like, because it’s suddenly useless for jumping back and forth between 96k studio work and 44.1 live work.
Yeah it defo shouldn’t do that… must be a bug.
Are you on the latest version?
Hello there,
Could you please include your system specs :
Mac or PC ? → Operating System Name + Version ?
DAW Name + Version ?
KICK 3 Version used ? ( latest is V1.1.7 )
Which plugin format are your using ? ( VST3, AU or AAX ? )
Steps to reproduce.
Thank you
Yessir, latest version.
It’s not really a bug, it’s just very oldschool development.
I did some testing, and seems it just brute force scales everything up 1:1 with the sample rate increase, but without updating any UI numbers. So if a pure test tone is 100hz/100ms, the actual output from Kick 3 is ~218hz/~46ms.
Steps to reproduce : change sample rate.
And what’s up with having latency for a single sine oscillator?

Hi
i’ve tried this on Live - latest version of KICK 1.1.7 on windows 11 and i cannot recreate the problem you’ve mentioned.
The KICK here is identical in shape and frequency before and after a sample rate change.
Any chance you have a video of the issue to see if i can recreate?
