Kick 3: The UI is loading very slowly

I’ve noticed that every time I open Kick 3, it takes about two seconds for the user interface to load.

I don’t think it’s just my issue.
It happens in all DAWs, no matter which one I use.

Is there any way to improve the UI loading speed?

Hello there,

The UI graphics are generated within the plugin code, therefore there might be a slight delay when opening the plugin, that said 2 seconds seems really too long & not the normal behaviour :confused:

  • Make sure to have the latest version ( currently v1.1.2 ) installed and also try to perform a Clean Install following the steps below :

1 - Re-download the latest KICK 3 version from your My Account/My Downloads/Plugins area.

2 - After unzipping the download archive, run the UNINSTALLER 1st ( the Uninstaller won’t delete your User files and presets ).

3 - Then run the KICK 3 Installer.

If you keep having the same issue after a Clean Install, please report back and let us know the following details :

  • Your Operating System Name + Version ( if on a Mac, is it an Intel or M Silicon model ? )
  • Which plugin instance ( format ) are you having the issue with ? ( VST3, AU, AAX or all of them ? )
  • Main DAW Name + Version and also other Daws tested.
  • Do you have any Midi Controller attached or scripts for Remote surfaces installed ?
