Plenty of tutorials in ableton and I’d usually just apply the same knowledge to my own DAW (Logic) although they all seem to use effects racks in ableton.
At the moment I’m just gonna rewire ableton to start my kicks although are there any dece tutorials through logic? Just curious

Will definately take up more CPU power (I think so anyway) but you could set up different channels for each part of the kick and then send them to a single bus and compress them together at the end…
It’d kinda emulate an effects rack…
Before you take my advice just wanna say I have no experience whatsoever with Logic…
