KICK not showing up in Ableton 9.1.7 64bit

Hi guys, br
br
I installed KICK completely on my new Windows 8.1 64bit system - to the correct folders and with successfull licence installation. Just as I did on my old Windows 8.1 64bit with the same Ableton version, which worked fine. br
But it doesn’t show up in the Ableton plugin list. I’ve chosen the correct plugin folder in Ableton settings. Tried it with both: v1.02 and v1.01 don’t show up. Also tried plugin rescan, still missing. br
br
Could you help me please? br
Thanks a lot in advance!

Its hard to say why it wouldn’t show up. Especially if it has before.br
br
what processor is running in your new machine?br
br
Just double check the custom plugin folders in Ableton are active… maybe also try copying the kick.dll it to Abletons default vst folder.

Thanks for your quick reply, Phil!br
br
It’s even the same machine with an Intel i7-3740QM. It’s just a new OS installation (as yearly necessary on Windows  ).br
If you need more information: Lenovo Thinkpad W530, 16GB RAM, SSD (Samsung), Windows 8.1 64bit, Ableton 9.1.7 Suite 64bit.br
br
All other VST plugins from this folder work fine, only KICK is missing. br
I also tried to install it again (and again and again) unsuccessfully. br
br
BUT: there is no way to deinstall KICK. It’s not in the Windows programs list. Does that mean it’s not correctly installed? Even if the installation told me that installation is complete?br
I found the program folder at C:\ProgramData\Sonic Academy\Kick - Nicky Romerobr
and the plugin is at C:\VSTPLUGINS\KICK Nicky Romero Edition x64.dll (and the KICK.license is also in this folder)

Sorry for silly question but you are defo using Ableton 64bit?

Yes. See attachement.br
br
I even put the 32bit-plugin into the folder, didn’t work too.

Some more proofs in the attachement…br
1st: KICK is in the right folderbr
2nd: the right folder is set in Abletonbr
3rd: KICK is not appearing in the plug-ins list
