Dear Mates
i’m going to purchase, combination of KRK monitors and M-Audio USB sound card.
I have been reading a lot of reviews, and still is uncreal for me, if they are fine for Home Studio.
I am producing, House Club Music, Inc. Electro,
so i wonder, which one you recommend from this?
KRK ROKIT G5
KRK ROKIT G6
KRK ROKIG G8
-----------------
as i’m new with hardware, i cannot see differences, so what are main differences and advantages and disadvantages of them,
Some people told me to go FOR ADAM, as they are better.so i’m still thinkin, which KRK ROKIT should i go for?
-----------------
WIll this two both goes well in producing ?
any expereince with FAST TRACK C400 or shall i go for FAS TRACK PRO?
I’m sorry if this kind of topic has been already posted or asked, please be advised, i need seperate suggestions on both. May you have better option.
Kind Regards
Levan

Before you buy an audio interface check for current drivers for your system.
===========================================================
M-audio is crappy in my opinion.Get focusrite or motu interface.
Krk g5,6 good for small room. The RP8’’ good for having more bass for bigger room garage size.
I do not recommend krk as pro speakers, they are good for starters tho.
The reason is if u mix on krk and u take the mix to other system it
doesn’t sound up to par.(my opinion)
entry level monitors:
equator audio d5,krk,behringer truth,tannoy reveal
I recommend you to get:
dynaudio,focal,genelecs or neumann.
Monitor entry list.
midrange priced.
Great audio interface with good ad/da converters + good monitors = great sound.
Read my studio guides links 4more info.
FAQ SECTION
Audio interface my ranking.
The best interfaces:: RME,Apogee,Prism Sound,UAD apollo
better interfaces: motu,focusrite,tc electronics
other interfaces: m-audio,behringer,tascam,presonus,mbox.
If you’re on mac and u want interface that has fireware400 u need adapter for FW800.
Do you use mac or windows pc?
:smooooth:
Hey mate
thanks for your message and support.
i use windows 7, SONY VAIO,
i do not plan to invest too much for first time
so i think by using, KRK ROKIT G5, or G6 plus with M-Audio C400, i will be able to increase quality of my music and will manage to reach standards. As by using, PC intergraed sound card or laptop one, won’t let you go far

My suggestions:
Audio interface: Focusrite saffire pro 14 or 24 or Scarlett 8i6 (don’t buy m-audio interface they sound really bad.)
Monitors: krk rp6 or tannoy reveal or equator audio d5.
:hehe:
I have the KRK 6s. They are OK for the price. Im not too happy with them. They dont have that flat bass I was looking for. They are somewhat loud but not in a good way. They are good for hip hop producers…but for EDM not so much. The reviews online are always 5stars but I think its because hip hop/pop producers out weight EDM producers.
After my purchase I went back and checked out the the Yamahas HS50M. I was really impressed. Flat bass, crystal clear HIs…MIDs ok. The are the same price as the KRKs 6. This is truly the way to go! I checked out the Alex monitors that everyone raves about but for the price of one I was not convinced. No way no how…WAY too much for those mediocre speakers. The HIs were top notch though. Best of the bunch.
EDIT: Also if you decide to go with the KRK 6, a guy at my local guitar center got them down to 130.00. Ive known him for awhile and they try to BS you (youre my boy Im hooking you up") but Im pretty sure if he did it any other Guitar Center can do it.
Most people agree that the KRK Rokits aren’t great. Trouble is the midrange. They are “scooped” – meaning they accentuate highs and lows. Which is nice for listening, but bad because it colors what you hear and affects your ability to get the mix right.
I actually JUST got KRK VXT6’s, which are the line above the Rokits. Spent a lot of time at Guitar Center comparing various monitors, and there was no question in my mind that the VXT’s sounded better than everything else I heard – just much more detailed midrange, not fatiguing. I’m really, really happy with them. They BLEW the Rokits away, too.
You might consider getting the KRK VXT4’s – would fit your budget.
Of course, there are tons of other options, too. But, for the money, I think the VXT’s are hard to beat.
Lots of valid points and opinions here. I also own a pair of KRK RP6’s which I use as my secondary set, and I agree they have a certain “hi-fi” character compared to more expensive monitors.
In my opinion though, when making house, the most important aspect is keeping the low end under control, and for that they would be a much better option than, say, the KRK VXT4’s.
Here’s a test of the RPG6 btw: [url=http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov08/articles/krkrp6.htm]SOS Past Articles now online (back to January 1994)
ive got some krk’s too, cant really complain for the price point, they are fairly ‘entry level sounding’ monitors but if your on a budget then its unlikely your going to be putting them in a treated room so i wouldnt spend loads on set of monitors anyway
