Lessons Completed: Intro to Ableton 9 Part 1 and 2

I did not have a lot of time to work on a piece but I wanted some project, so I decided to try the intro to ableton course. I am not really a beginner per se but I thought it might have some stuff I haven’t picked up so far.br
br
it’s a good course, i would bet a more beginner could get a lot out of it. I am pretty sure most of the things discussed were things I knew but it was nice to have it all tied together like it was.br
br
So, I took the example, changed it a bit to try and make it my own. You will probably still recognize a lot of the original piece in it, but I am hoping enough of it feels different.br

I like that guitar sound… is it a real guitar?

Nope. That is the 7-Strangler Lead Guitar sound that ships with Ableton. I wanted to try out the audio to midi functionality so I actually recorded in from my guitar and converted that to midi. it worked quite well. I am happy about that as I am a terrible piano player so I can come up with melodies and such on my guitar and just convert it.br
