What are you doing, are you thinking of buying something?
My favourite synth for ripping off 90s tunes is the M1. Lovely organ and bright cutting piano in there amongst that cliched finger click and tons of other naff sounds.

its really easy to use , it comes with a GUI which you can use to program your own patches. similar like sylenth.
did anyone tried Synth1 from Ichiro Toda? i just learned that is PC only.
but i was messing with it and it sounds pretty good and the best of all free.

It is this:
Name/Version: ML-185 Stage Controlled Sequencer 0.9
Author:

Description:
This is a stage-driven sequencer. There are a total of 8 configurable stages and 3 layers for pitch, velocity and “aux” (= Pitch Bend or CC). Each stage provides 4 different play modes and can have a variable length from 1 - 8 clock pulses. Enjoy!
Don’t you need M4L to use these plug ins? It’s bloody annoying. Sure it should be needed to design them but, once they’re done, they should be exportable and useable on standard Ableton platforms.

Yeah sorry, it is a max for live plugin.
Much like Reaktor there are a lot of people that use the effects that come with Max and download ones other people have made. The number of people that actually make them is relatively small. If they gave it away it wouldn’t make much business sense.
It costs 200 euro and it comes with 100 effects and there are 650 available for download on that site.
I have it and although I have started to use a couple of the effects and instruments I haven’t got my moneys worth out of it yet. With so many options it is hard to get to know them.

Yeah I have it too - but rarely use it except the granular synth
I just noticed that David Icke asked us to list things in an orderly fashion, i quote:
“1.Synth name
2.website link
3.genere.”
Now come on lads, let’s have some order here.
Tbh I dont really think you have genre specific synths. I mean you have to understand synthesis but although its very hard to replicate a sound exactly you should be able to get close using most synths. The trick is to get the feel for the sound and colour of a particular synth. By doing this you will start to notice some synths may be better suited for whatever genre you are wanting to make. For example you will find a minimoog can produce a really nice warm bass which could be great for House music. The JP 8080 on the other hand is a big digital sounding and wont really be able to produce low end as well as a moog but the JP has a really nice bright top end and a very warm unison. It is a classic trancy synth.
You should definately try and get your head around synthesis first before you worry about whoch synth has the best presets for the genre you want to make.
