I recently updated to 2.0.99 and I have a project that has 2 instances of ANA and now the project takes a couple minutes to load. Before the update, it took a few seconds to load. It’s clearly loading ANA that takes the longest.

If you’re using Logic Pro 10.7 and above we recommend to download and install latest beta version v2.0.993b which is available for download in your account :
If you are a Slate Digital customer using ANA 2 through their “All Access Pass” subscription, a new version should be soon available from Slate Digital website, but at the minute, latest version available to Slate Digital customers is v2.0.992.
