Ok I’m pretty sure this has been covered in a video tutorial somewhere on SA, but without watching through them all to find it, could someone please refresh my memory on how to load multiple one shots into sampler and have them load up into each key seperatly WITHOUT having to manually assign them all to each key?
I’ve got grand piano audio going every octave from 1 to 7, so you can see my reasons for not wanting to manually assign each audio to each key, i’ll be here all day! lol
Usually these multisample packs come with sampler patches for the ESX24 or Kontakt or whatever, and these can be opened in Ableton and are converted to Simpler patches, I think it saved the patches in Simpler - imported, or something.
I don’t know of a way you can import them automatically to the right note without a patch file - that doesn’t mean there isn’t one, I just don’t know it.
yeah Ant is right theres no easy way if you dont have a patch file.
you might have to do some actual work!
Bah humbug!
