Hi, I bought the Lofi Ana 2.5 preset pack today. However now when I’m making midi patterns in Ableton with any key presets in ANA (not just the lofi pack), the volume on the synth oscillators when I try and play the midi is jumping to zero every time. I’ve updated the synth plugin and reloaded the pack but Im having the same issue. Ive no idea whats happened. Any advice would be great. Thanks
Hard to tell without a clear step by step description to reproduce the issue and without knowing the presets names. Some presets might have the ARP ( Arpegiator ) or/and the CMD ( Chords Memory Device ) enable, so that might come into play as well.
But yeah, knowing the presets names and having a step by step description to reproduce or a short video showing exactly what you’re doing and what’s happening would help, thank you.

Thanks for the reply. It seems that its now a problem with lots of my vst’s in ableton. Ive no idea whats going on. I’ll contact Ableton and see if they have a solution. Thanks again
Are you using a template when you open a new project in Live or just the default empty project ?
Also have you maybe changed the default Midi track and are your loading any Midi devices on each new Midi Track ? ( and could it be a midi device placed before your VST causing this ? ).
You can always RESET Ableton Live settings if you’re not sure about changes made.

Im just using a default empty project. I havent loaded any midi devices before the plugin. I just drop a vst on to a midi track. I make a midi clip, wrote a few notes then when I try and play it, the volume drops to zero on the oscillators automatically. Ive reset the ableton live setting as you suggested and its still the same. Its bizarre. Cheers for your suggestions
OK so if this is only happening with ANA 2 each time you Press Play in your DAW, then it is likely a MIDI CC assignment to your keyboard space-bar.
Check this other post on the forums to delete your ANA 2.settings file.
Hopefully that would be the issue ( but again, this is only if related to ANA 2 ).
