ok i am going insane trying to work this out an thought someone might tell me whats happening here…
i have a laptop running on windows, and my logic running on a mac, i downloaded an acapella, converted it to a wav file, saved it to my memory stick, put it into my mac that isnt connected to the internet just yet, loaded the audio file into the arrange page on logic 7. played it and it is at about 1 million bpm lol
why is this happening ? if i play the audio file on its own without putting it through logic its fine :w00t:
Make sure the file is the correct sample rate as the project you are working with Mate.
44.1 etc…
if you try loading a 48 or whatever else into a 44.1 then you get all sorts of hipitched nonsense.
either resample to correct bitrate in logic or go back to your original source & export as 44.1k / 24 or 16
Then make sure your global settings in Logic are the same.
Should be cool then.
