Logic 9 is here!

Check it out on the Apple website. Logic 9 is here! Whats your favorite new feature???

I cant believe apple, there such an amazing company! How could anyone keep such a release a secret till the day its released. Iv been following many rumors about apple releasing a new product (which was supposed to be logic 9) but when snow leapod was announced, everyone realized that it was probably just that.

Anyway enough rant, im off now to get downloading.

How good does the flex tool look!

Dude I’ve spent the last thirty minutes looking for it on the page. Where is it. Next time post a link for the few dumb asses here on the site. Seriously though, can someone post a link. I can not find this.

Thanks for the find too.

is there anymore instruments or effect, looks to me mainly streamlining and work flow improvements was kinda hoping that EXS24 and Maybe for an ES3

There seems to a fair amount of new features and effect plug ins, have only just skimmed the site at apple. I feel like I’m in a bit of a dilemma since I was planning to upgrade to Ableton 8. Now Logic 9 comes along and seems to have corrected its weakest flaw which was audio manipulation. Can only afford to upgrade to one or the other at this time. Definately thrown a spanner in the works with this one:unsure:

Don’t want to rush into anything just yet but if anyone can give me some advice please feel free to do so

i would go with the Ableton upgrade first dude, give apple a bit of time to fix any bugs in the logic 9

I think this release is a big bug fix. Logic 8 hasn’t had an update in ages so I presume many things have been resolved. I agree with opting for ableton as your first DAW though.

Also pretty gutted ESX24 or some other instruments havnt been updated. Pretty expensive update also, ill definitively wait a while.

yeah its £159 for what is potentially a bug fix and improved audio engine to most user’s

there are some cool little boxes and effects to use but many of use probably have these in 3 party plug-ins anyway

I think im gona get this becuase i want that tempo change function thats gona be fun to play with

I think Logic 9 is amazing !

Now Logic has all the Ableton Things…

Flex Time = Warping and Time Streching

Convert to Sampler Track = Slice to Midi Track

It comes with 6 Jam packs about 18000 Loops, Presets etc…

The onboard Synths and Effects are even better than Ableton s 8 Garbage !

I am a little bit disapointed that the EXS24 Sampler has become no update....

But for the Update Price of 199 €, for all these Features Logic 9 is a real Banger,
cant wait for September…

Hope The Sonics will be hard working to make brand new L9 Tutorials after L9 is released…
