I bounced some midi down today in Logic 9 to save my mac getting upset with system overloads.br
Something has happened to it. After the bounce it’s sounds different, sort of bland and quieter.br
br
I looped my midi file and soloed it.br
I clicked bounce and used the normalize setting with 2nd pass(I think was called)br
br
Is there something I’m not doing right?br
br
Thanks in advance.br

Julian
if you want it exactly the same you shouldn’t normalize it
Also check you haven’t any plugins over the master out as the bounced audio file will be going through these again, therefore changing the sound.br
Thanks for the replies,br
br
Phil. Ok, I will have a go without normalizing…br
br
And Chris,br
br
I have not made it far enough to start putting anything on my master yet haha!br
I’m still at the 8 bars template, and tweaking stage. I guess learning to understand my synths and plug ins.br
br
br
On a smaller separate note, what can I use as a Ping Pong delay in Logic 9 please?br
I have been following the peak time trance tutorial and love it, right up my street that is, and want to use it on my driving bass.br
