Logic pro Space Designer

I’m going to go ahead and say I suck with reverb. I can not find a reverb to go along with my basses.

I understand that every bass needs it’s own reverb, but is there a reverb in the space designer that normally works for you. If so please let me know which one. I am getting very frustrated trying to find one.

Again I suck with reverb so go easy on me. Thanks in advance too.

are you using reverb on a send/return or on the insert ?

I am using the send return. I am not sending all the signal either. I barely send any. It may actually sound good, but I may not recognize it.

when i use reverb i use the gold verb in logic i find the space designer doesnt give me what i want then i just automate the mix to get what i want

id suggest not only using a send and return but automating parts of the designer to get the desired effect

yeah that ^^^^

personally i really dislike using reverb and find they are very easy to get completely wrong, its probably not the best way or the way i “should” be doing it but if my mix sounds to dry i pay around with the release on the samplers and synths to see if i can get the right mix of dry and wet sounds to make my mix sound natural as i can and if that doesn’t work i normally go for delay instead or a reverb.

Thanks for the advice people.
