Looking for feedback on two minimal/techno tracks :)

Hows it going everyone?

Here are two tracks I am looking for feedback on…

The style is minimal/techno.

Any help would be really appreciated.

links aren’t working for me

Apologies my fault. They are working now…see above. Cheers Phil

I am a bit of noob to this genre. For me it’s very minimal. Too minimal i mean. From the mix it sounds good on my headphones.

Thanks for the feedback. I have always liked stripped back house and techno. Not into massive builds. Glad the mix sounds good anyhow

it’s cool. only see the problem that it’s too much “functional” music, made for taking the happy pill and dancing. just for listening there’s something unique and catchy missing for me. backroom stalker has it, but it takes 2:30 minutes before you hear it. then it’s really nice.

Thanks for the feedback. These tracks are very much designed for the club I suppose. A sweaty techno club at 4 in the morning  I’m glad you think Backroom Stalker ‘has it’.

My track H20 is easier listening:

nice track to start the day and annoy my neighbours. but too short. 7 minutes por favor. how do you make this kick?

The full track is around 7 mins. This is just a sample of the track. I couldn’t upload the whole track to Soundcloud as its signed to a record label, namely Eisenwaren (Germany).

The kick was taken from a Steve Lawler sample pack from memory. I EQ some mids out and very low sub frequencies that are not audible. I then group together all drums and compress using Vintage Warmer 2

Backroom Stalker is great really dark and dubby. I like how you’ve managed to keep it minimal it is easy to give in to temptation and keeping adding things. This is exactly the type of track I want to get building as it is what I would want to hear playing when out.

Good work.
