Doesn’t anybody have any recommendations for loop editing software? I use logic and one of it’s main downfalls is the poor audio editing. Obviously Recycle is great for this, but it’s over 200 quid and I don’t fancy paying that much just to chop up some samples.br

Any ideas?
Depending on what you mean by editing, Audacity has served me well with a lot of editing, fade-ins, fade-outs, noise reduction, cutting off silences, etc… A href="http://audacity.sourceforge.net/"Audacity download | SourceForge.net
Yeah I’ve used Audacity in the past, I’m thinking more, chopping up / rearranging loops, where the software splits up the hits and you can move them about, does the new version of audacity deal with that kind of stuff?
Might be a little bit more then what you were looking for but I just recently got a Maschine and absolutely love it for exactly this reason…it makes it so much fun
That looks decent. Although I’m looking for something I can use during my commute on the poxy train, don’t think my fellow passengers would appreciate me bashing about on that! haha

I bought it yesterday, it’s not quite as user friendly as they make out, but it’s certainly useful
