Yeah, that is what happens with Ableton. It installs it in a new directory each time. The advantage of that is if there is a problem with the new version, you can use the old version.

You can unistall the old version using Control panel, you will see Live 8.2.1 and Live 8.2.7 etc

Or you can leave them both on, it doesn’t matter.

yeah i have kept both even though the 8.2.7 is only 28mb?? seems strange to delete the previous one when this is such a small program?? confused to be honest lol?

and the lpd8 is in the control surfaces woooohhooo!!! :smiley:

where will the vst folder location be storted??
