really nice track dude!! Digging it
hi-five man. thank you! :w00t:
sounds good…
sweetness! it feels like a nice track. someone suggested for me to increase the side-chain compressor’s threshold and adding a chorus to the riff. i’ll work on details like that later on today.
nice one! progressive, still relaxed!
I liked the lead that came in at about 3 mins, sounded great!
I’m really happy with that lead preset from u-he’s VSTi “ACE”. However, I’m revising this because that second minute is a major buzz-kill.
peace
Nice feel to this! Would agree maybe work the threshold a bit but only till you feel is good for you, just will give it a more bouncy pumping feel.
I like the floaty melody to this, there are some quirky elements of sound in it which takes your mind places and into deep thought.
Updated! Major changes have been made.
interesting track mate, keep em coming
New edit!
Thanks, by the way, ekko.
Check your sound cloud mail
check yours, too!
Just checked out the 27th August edit. Love the drums. Nice beats man.
So, the melody is essentially the same throughout but played through different VST settings and filters? It works for sure, doesn’t get boring. Did you do anything else for variation? Not saying it needs it at all, just curious for my own work too.
Liked that.
I appreciate it!
As for the track: I did a 4-bar midi progression and created a few midi phrases based on it. The main synth, which is a lead, is nearly always playing. Here are its parameters that I used throughout the track: release, decay, cutoff, phaser depth, phaser delay feedback, phaser feedback mix, phaser delay mix, playing mode (polyphonic and duophonic) and portamento.
Thanks, again.
