I’ve just got Microtonic & think its really fkn good.
Theres so many presets in it that sound great, but tweaking them only goes so far for me.
Would it be possible to do a vid to run through how to make 808 & 909 kicks in say, Operator?
I’ve tried watching a few tuts online & looking at how the presets are made for 808/909’s in operator - but I would definitely benefit from a bit of verbal assistance. Is there something already on the site? I had a look but couldnt find anything - if there is something already, point me
Have to say, was really impressed with the Kick made in Simpler with the Sine wave. I never really messed around with making kicks through synthesis - but I honestly think its the way forward.
They sound quality in a drum synth - no messing about.

you should try the demo bro ,. it will blow your mind hehehe
Watched the demo vid of it this afternoon actually. Looks deadly Mate - but theres a bit too much going on in it. I really like the simplicity of Micromoronic…

its not that hard dude. they have easy control for noobs like us. so it is easy to tweak , tune and edit the synth. for everyone who do techno , this Drum Synth is a must have. just saying because i own one hheheh
I really like it too - its interesting the way by adding noise with the long attack , how you can get an almost reverb effect.
Think thats wrecking my head today is keeping it from being so fkn random & constantly modulating - I know its meant to be analog - but cant work out what to do to make it more “static”. Grrrrr :hehe:
Yesterday I was really impressed with what I did - but today nothing sounds right. Time to hit the manual again…
The demo is great - 3wks. And its over usage per session afaik.
Did you increase the distort knob over by the master EQ and Pan pots? That usually makes it dirty…
