Maschine Mikkro

Look:

£300 for Mikro or £500 for the full size. (Same software on both)

What makes them different from each other Ant?

I think it is the same software, it is just the controller is smaller.

Also IOS iMaschine:

This could be slick, I’m interested in this for sure. Love the fact you can jam on the iPhone then finish it up on the mikro or full size machine

Very interesting! I bought mine for £350 second hand about two years ago now - best music money I ever spent!

If you look over on the KVR or Ableton Marketplaces there are a few people selling theirs now. If you want secondhand I’d personally go KVR as they have a feedback thread that discourages unscrupulous sellers…

Really fancy one of them actually. Anyone using the existing maschine as a plugin host and no ableton/logic?

Maschine is incredible, my friend use this in Ableton and itss amazing !<br> Youve all the Komplete 8 Instruments and Presets in it`s Kore Engine ! ( you most own Komplete ).

By the way i will buy the Micro !!!

It costs about 300 Euros at my favourite Internet Dealer ! :hehe:

I’m rapidly going down this route after selling most of my software to raise some much needed cash. Works a charm.

This is a good point. I never think of second hand.

I am looking forward to seeing some reviews of the Mikro that explain what you loose compared with the full product.

I am sure NI know what they are ding but it seems to me that they are shooting themselves in the foot to come out with something 200 quid cheaper but with a smaller controller but same functionality - tbh I would go for the Mikro for the simple reason it would be easier to bung in a bag

no knobs though on the mikro?

bigger is better
nohero (06/09/2011)
no knobs though on the mikro?
Yeah, this is the biggie. I think that a lot of the appeal of the Maschine is that you can use it without touching your mouse - something you maybe loose with the Mikro.

Honestly - I’d go second hand on KVR or eBay. Just make sure you check the sellers feedback on both. Perhaps steer clear of the Ableton For Sale thread as this doesn’t have any kind of feedback thread.
