This is a little mash up I did while having a bit of writers block on one of my own tunes.



Can anyone tell me how I can tighten the dynamic range, without a compressor across the mast- that makes it sound really messy, or should I say more so. I know it can’t be perfect as I’m using fully mastered original tracks to do a mash up, I would just love to play this out if I could tighten the sound a bit.

I dont think theres much you can do with mastering to tighten it up… i think the messiness just comes from the samples overlapping.



for the most part it sounds ok… few bits where everything is going at once makes it sound a bit messy.
