Melodic part of House/deep

I dont find any tuto to help me in melodic part…br
br
I would like to make some tips like that (easy i think) :br

Bonjour Marc :Dbr
br
I’ve just listened to your track Mystic. br
br
I really like the melody and the feel of the whole track. I think that if you’re trying to give it more of a Deep House feel like your examples then you’ll need to put your bass up an octave or so or change the type of bass used so that there’s more harmonics as at the moment its not really doing anything apart from rumbling way down low, which might sound awesome in a club but isnt translating across on normal headphones which is what most people will be listening to it on. ;)br
br
Like I said before the track itself is really cool and catchy, I just think it needs those bits of ear candy to mix it up a bit. Transitions into the next sections, try taking the drums out before the break, subtle reverse hats at the end of a phrase. Maybe even some filtering in sections to give it another dynamic?br
br
There’s a few ideas that hopefully should help you out and I look forward to hearing what you do with it. :w00t:

Super ! I’m so Happy about that answer.br
br
So some question more :Dbr
br
"which might sound awesome in a club but isnt translating across on normal headphones which is what most people will be listening to it on"br

  • How for music that you want play in club ? … :pbr
    br
"I just think it needs those bits of ear candy to mix it up a bit."br
That is pretty hard, cause it need to have a good sens in the general feeling, and i think the harder to me is to found the good synth, the good feel texture. I use preset, and rework a bit. Isnt the easier part anyway this is our music.br
    br
" subtle reverse hats at the end of a phrase"br
  • I can do it ! And just wanna know how to use it. Do you need to put it every end of 16kick or 32 kick. Maybe that i havent work on how to put it ? And it need be changed/reworked every time ? Or you use always the same ?br
    br
So i will try to work on it tomorow.br
    br
I like ur sound, a bit in my style. I havent a real feel with the dubsted ? lol Isnt dubsted ? Maybe it is. But in some part, more than 50%, you have an house construction, Kick Clap or kick every sted. More underground like begin, 15 sec, it make me crazy !br
    br
Good work anyway, i will vote :)br
    br
I prefer this : SoundCloud - Hear the world’s sounds

Thanks for the comments about my Tracks Marc, it means a lot to hear people speak about them! :)br
br
With regards to your track you would add reverse hats at the end of a section, to signify the end of that part and then you could use hats or some subtle FX (white noise risers, filter sweeps etc) to inform the listener that its the start of the next section. br
br
So its really down to taste and the track itself to work out where these parts need to be. The best thing to do is listen to the tracks that are in the style that you are creating and write down when they use FX etc to change things up and then this will give you a better idea of how they transition between sections.br
br
Once you have an idea of what you want to do, check out the tutorials section on this site and run a search for the effect you want to create and 9 times out of 10 you will find a video on it, but if not then just ask on here and someone will help you out!

I have up my track a bit :br

br
Just with the little reverse, i have olso ad my first own synth :)br
With ping pong delay… I have add 2 samples to make one. And play it at keys. Super :)br
And this effect before the break, just on echo an the reverse.br
br
It’s pretty cool to work it.
