First off I would like to say this is an amazing site and I have found your tutorials to be very helpful, hence why i paid for a subscription :P.
I’m having an issue with my midi controller where some of the keys aren’t playing sound when I have a vst loaded. I’m using a Korg Kontrol 49 in cubase 5 and my sound card is an m-audio 1010lt. Is there something I still need to do in cubase to configure the controller properly or is this an issue with the controller itself?
Sorry if this a noob question, im just getting into this and still trying to wrap my head around it. Thanks for your help guys

hi mate welcome to the site, can you be a bit more specific what vst is this happening on, which keys don’t work?

its happening in every vst im using… same keys
sounds like your keys may be mapped to elsewhere,
are you getting a midi signal when you press the keys with no sound?
whatever it is it does sound odd, have you got another DAW you can try
