MIDI in Abelton

I’m new to Live 8 ( reformed Pro Tool user ) and I am having trouble getting the MIDI rig working, low latency that is. I have read all of the Abelton explanations but my questions is, do most of you record MIDI in other sequencers and import? Thanks

It might be worth checking out the ASIO drivers assuming your card supports them.

After installation go to Abletons preferences and select ASIO as your primary sound source. A bit of fiddling with the latency sliders and you should be good to go with relatively good latency.

Yeah I had this issue at first when I plugged in my MIDI, was almost a 1 second delay.

Like mentioned above, you should be able to change your settings in your preferences.
