Class!! Nice 1 Slender

Gotta say its a very good documentry

Great doc.

On Pt.3 now. Cant decide whether yerman David is unhinged or not. Its either gonna be a great success or an utter disaster.

Watching the Clubs / People in Germany is cool. Nice to see the Wighnomy Bros

That was cool. Love the Wighnomy Brothers.

David = Meltdown. Knew it :D

It was a pretty cool insight in too the US scene and yeah the Bros were cool and really liked their collective way of helping and supporting eachother - ha probably cause I’m an old commie/hippy at heart

Some mad effects for both PC and the other lot - and they are free too

I watched 2 or 3 of them last week. The music was totally top and the Wighnomy brothers class. When one of them sits down and starts working on Ableton and, I think without any editing, comes up with a great bass sound and little loop almost straight away I was blown away. I would LOVE to sit next to him, watch him work and pick his brains.

Yeah totally. I think Robag (sorry, Gabor) is a fkn genius. They have some really out there tracks that dont sound like anything else & are so amazing. I’ve a couple of DJ mixes that are very interesting to say the least. They sound like they genuinely love what they do.

They’re unique. You dont get that level of personality in a lot of DJ/Producers music.

Magda - She’s a Dancing Machine
Very cool track!

I think it fits well on the other thread

Do you think she does all her own production?

You should check out some of her production techniques in the Minus Live Pack from Abletons website. I found it very interesting.

Kickdrum Attack/transient extraction made simple… WIN/MAC
Get yourself the ancient mda-vst package from

http://mda.smartelectronix.com/

For this you only need ‘Mda Loudness’

1.) Put the aforementioned plugin on a channel where

you route kicks that have a desirable attack portion

2.) Turn ‘Loudness’ to ‘’-60 db’’ (fully left)

3.) Layer with another (possibly lowpassed) kick wich has a body

you like

If you don’t turn ‘‘Loudness’’ fully left you will get more of the middle-range (punch) qualities of the kick. Even more to the left and you will be left with more or less the lows of the kick.

Experiment. Smile

I think you could run this plugin with the aforementioned -60db setting over entire kick-libraries (in batch mode in sth. like wavelab) to yield an enormous amount of attack layers. imilar to the attack samples in the ‘Venegeance Metrum’ plugin. We might even be able to exchange these here?
